Does Acquisity delete my leads automatically?
When lead space runs low, a new lead search can delete your Completed campaign leads. Never on Growth. Here's when.
Sometimes, yes. On every subscription except Growth, starting a new lead search can delete the leads in your Completed campaigns to make room.
It never runs on the Growth subscription (the plan you pay for, not the Growth Plan Creator tool), while an upgrade to Growth is pending, or when the platform can't confirm which subscription you're on.
When it happens
The cleanup only runs when a lead search starts for a campaign. A CSV upload never triggers it.
It runs if the space left in your sending workspace is low. Low means either of these:
- Fewer than 5,000 free lead slots.
- Fewer free slots than 3 times the number of leads you asked the search for.
For example, a search for 2,000 leads needs 6,000 free slots. With less room than that, the cleanup runs.
What gets removed
Every lead in every Completed campaign on your current sending provider. Leads in Active, Paused, Draft, and Archived campaigns are not touched, and neither are Completed campaigns from a sending provider you used before.
Cleared leads are gone for good
The leads are deleted from the campaign and from your sending provider. Their campaign history goes with them. This cannot be undone.
If your workspace sends through EmailBison, the leads are deleted in Acquisity only. The copies in EmailBison stay, so the cleanup doesn't free up space there.
How to keep a copy
Export the leads of any campaign you want to keep before it reaches Completed, or before you start a new lead search.
- Open the campaign.
- Go to the Leads tab.
- Clear any search, filters, and selected rows. Export Leads exports only the leads that match them.
- Click Export Leads.
Automatic cleanup never runs on the Growth subscription. On any other subscription, export first if you want to keep a copy.
