Can I change a client to a member?
Yes. Owners and admins change roles from the Access dropdown on the Members page.
Yes, and the other way round. Roles are not permanent.
- Open Settings → Members.
- Find the person in the members list.
- Use the Access dropdown on their row to pick the new role.
The change applies the next time the page loads for them. A person moved from Client to Member gets the full sidebar and tools.
A person moved to Client loses them and lands in the Client Portal.
Notes:
- Admins can set Admin, Member, or Client. Only Owners can make someone an Owner.
- An Owner cannot change their own role while they are the only Owner.
